Abstract. Modern web development is not a simple solution and it has evolved enormously in the past 20 years. In this session, we will explore how it was starting and where it is now and what’s the future of it. We’ll cover basic web application and evolve it to the level of such huge platforms as Twitter to share how complex it might become. As well cover some of the aspects of Web3.0, what components are now added outside of web to web pages and API aspect.
Students explored key topics such as:
✅ The evolution of web development and how it shaped today’s technologies.
✅ Modern web architecture: cloud computing, scalability, and containerization.
✅ 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝟯 and smart contracts.
✅ The journey from junior to senior engineer—what changes in responsibilities and skills?
✅ When to keep it simple vs. when to scale for millions of users.
