Abstract. During the session will do a walkthrough through simulated planning, building, deploying and operating application in a cloud environment. We will focus on how security should be embedded into the individual phases and activities during the whole application lifecycle.
The focus will be on:
- What should be taken into consideration when preparing application design.
- How to use DevSecOps to securely and effectively develop your application.
- Why deployment of the application to production doesn’t mean all security activities are finished.
We will try to highlight how security best practices and theory is translated to actual application development.
Student Learning Outcomes. Students will understand key cyber security principles and how they are applied during building and deploying modern application into cloud nvironment in large enterprise.
